About us Clear Lake Lutheran Church (CLLC) is a church in northeastern Indiana. Our church is part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, the second largest Lutheran body in North America. We welcome people of all faiths to join us for worship. (For worship times, see our Worship With Us page.) CLLC is situated on the southeastern corner of beautiful Clear Lake. (We're actually one block away from the lake.) Clear Lake is northeast of and about six miles from Fremont, Indiana, and our address is actually a Fremont address. (To find out how to get to CLLC from Fremont, see our Directions page.) Clear Lake and the immediate area are home to many year-round residents. There are also people who are seasonal residents and others who have cottages on or near the lake. Consequently, our church has members who attend all throughout the year and others who are able to attend only part of the year and other friends that regularly spend time with us when they are in the area. In addition, other members come to us from beyond the immediate area around Clear Lake. Because we are so close to Michigan, we also have some members from southern Michigan. At times during our history, the church was a chapel operating only during the warm weather months. We have been serving the community as a year-round church for a number of years and offer opportunities for worship, bible study, music, youth events, and fellowship.
